Position Details
Bachelor's Degree. Minimum of three years of related experience is preferred.SGR is seeking a Legal Billing Specialist. Duties and Responsibilities include facilitating the monthly client billing cycle including the distribution of pre-bills, addressing, and resolving revisions to pre-bills on a timely basis, and finalize pre-bills. During the pre-bill process involved tasks include monitoring rates, client addresses and billing notes to ensure accuracy as well as processing flat fee rates and phase billing and processing electronic bills. Process client costs and issue checks for payment. Assist with monthly financial reporting. Process accounts receivables. Track and enter monthly billing adjustments. Assist the Office Administrator with HR related tasks, such as payroll and new employee setup. Essential Job Specifications/Qualifications: Ability to demonstrate a level of business acumen and professionalism when working with internal and external clients at all levels. Must be self-motivated and operate in a time sensitive environment while being accurate and detail oriented. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Self-directed with a strong work ethic. Knowledge of electronic billing preferred, including budgets and appeals. Associate Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance preferred or equivalent administrative and accounting experience.
