Position Focus: Primarily responsible for accompanying the University Singers on Mondays and Wednesdays, with the potential opportunity to collaborate on the Spring Musical.

Duties:
Provides piano accompaniment for MSJ students and faculty in both individual and ensemble settings. Performances may take place on or off campus, with variable hours based on student and departmental needs. Works collaboratively with the Piano Accompanist to support rehearsals and performances. Contributes to the success of the division by embracing new responsibilities, seeking opportunities to enhance departmental offerings, and assisting colleagues as needed.

Primary Contacts:
Music Department Chair, Director of Choral Activities, Director of Bands, Director of Theatre Arts, Office of Mission and Ministry, students, and other university personnel.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's in Music.

Experience: Demonstrated skill in collaborative piano accompanying.

Specialized Training: Proficient in collaborative piano accompanying, scheduling, and communication.

Work Environment, Physical Demands: Multiple service hours; computer data input; multiple concurrent tasks with service interruptions; extensive customer contact; strict confidentiality; detailed work.
