Role Description

This is a part?full time on?site role for a billing assistant. The role is located in San Diego, CA. The position will be responsible for billing department duties along with corresponding with front desk & clinical team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a medical billing role, preferably within the fertility healthcare sector but willing to train the right candidate for fertility specialty
• Proficient experience with a variety of insurance carriers from a practice perspective
• Familiarity with financial concepts, medical billing procedures, and governmental accounting is essential.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on effective communication and problem?solving.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Previous experience as a billing coordinator/financial coordinator is advantageous.
• Experience with superbills, medical billing, procedure authorizations, insurance and patient AR
• MUST HAVE: a willingness to learn, be adaptable to updates within the healthcare field and have a positive attitude with patients and staff
