*Perioperative RN / Circulating OR Nurse*

*Kingman, AZ* | *Surgical Services Operating Room*

We are seeking an experienced *Perioperative Registered Nurse / Circulating OR RN* to join our surgical team. This role focuses on *safe, compassionate perioperative care* with a strong emphasis on *intraoperative circulating responsibilities* while supporting pre- and post-operative workflows as needed.

As a Circulating RN, you will serve as the patients advocate in the OR while collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to ensure high-quality surgical outcomes.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Circulate surgical cases and maintain sterile field integrity
* Perform surgical time-outs and counts (sponges, sharps, instruments)
* Coordinate equipment, instruments, implants, and room setup
* Assist with patient positioning and safety monitoring
* Provide accurate real-time documentation
* Conduct pre-operative assessments and patient education
* Support immediate post-operative recovery and discharge teaching
* Practice evidence-based infection prevention and safety protocols

*Primary Surgical Specialties*

Experience preferred across:

* *General Surgery*
* *Orthopedics*
* *Robotic / Minimally Invasive Surgery*
* *Thoracic Surgery*
* *ENT*
* *Hernia and GI procedures*
* *Trauma or emergency surgical cases*

*Qualifications*

* Active *Arizona RN License(or ability to obtain one)*
* Graduate of an accredited nursing program
* *1+ year perioperative or circulating OR RN experience preferred*
* *BLS required*
* ACLS required
* Strong knowledge of sterile technique and intraoperative safety standards
* Excellent teamwork, communication, and critical-thinking skills
