Job Description

Our client, a respected organization in the healthcare industry, is seeking an Interim Controller to join their team.
As an Interim Controller, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Accounting and Executive Leadership teams.
The ideal candidate will have  strong analytical thinking ,  excellent communication skills , and  a proactive approach to problem-solving , which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Interim Controller
Location: Saint Louis, Missouri (Onsite)
Pay Range: $55–$70/hour (based on experience) 

What’s the Job?

• Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for senior leadership
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and healthcare-specific financial regulations
• Support audit preparation and liaise with external auditors
• Manage all revenue cycle functions

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience in the healthcare sector, specifically with the healthcare revenue cycle
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Workday, Oracle, NetSuite)
• Strong understanding of GAAP and healthcare financial reporting standards
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
