Job Description

The Santa Cruz Warriors are looking for an enthusiastic, creative Marketing Coordinator who loves sports to work with multiple departments across the business team, including Ticket Sales, Partnerships, Community Relations, etc. In this role, you will play a vital role assisting our merchandise and other game-day responsibilities. This position reports to the Manager, Marketing. This is an excellent opportunity to share your expertise while learning more about this growing sports and entertainment organization that values your initiative and dedication! This is a full-time position based onsite in Santa Cruz, CA. Key Responsibilities Collaborate within Marketing department to create all collateral – print, digital, arena signage, etc. Build integrated promotional strategies to achieve goals for various revenue-generation departments, including focuses on individual ticket sales, group special events, community relations and corporate partnership cross promotions Craft compelling designs concepts, graphics and layouts to support various campaigns Manage quality of all projects, including edits and reviews prior to releasing final files for production Create in-arena graphics and content to support game operations Build positive relationships with Golden State Warriors teams to facilitate work plan and coordination Create and monitor any and all marketing fulfillment for sponsorship activation Other duties as assigned Required Experience & Skills Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience Minimum 1 year of marketing experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite and Adobe Creative Suite (illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign) Well versed in visual graphics, design, typography, photography, and communication; experience developing advertising/promotional and direct marketing programs and materials Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service and resolution skills Ability to communicate with peers at all levels within the organization and external constituents throughout the Santa Cruz community Ability to balance multiple projects at once in a fast-paced work environment Time Commitment Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule (nights and weekends may be required) Compensation $20.00 per hour + Bonus Comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision benefits for employees and dependents Employer 401K match Vacation, Summer Half-Day Fridays and a generous paid time off plan for pregnancy and parental leaves Warriors home tickets, team store discount and more!
