The National Security Sector at Leidos is seeking a Database Administrator to is to support the development of AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 system operational manuals and training products created within databases associated with US Navy ships in support of Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS 5B).
Primary Responsibilities
Oracle database administrator
Proficient in developing ad hoc reports from database tables
Proficient with Linux, and script writing
Experience in understanding and applying DISA STIG guidance, and its impact on the database system
Ability to interact effectively with developers, system end users, and the US Navy Customer
Basic Qualifications
Requires BS and 2+ years of prior relevant experience (additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree).
Excellent written communication and grammatical skills
Excellent organizational skills.
Experience working directly with operational SMEs
Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams
US Citizenship required.
Clearance Required: must have and be able to maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
System LAN operation and administration
Experience with NAVSEA programs and their lifecycle support
Travel may be required for this position
Experience working with Moodle, Blackboard or similar dashboard products
