This position is a field-based position based in St. Petersburg, FL in the Cardiac Rhythm Management division. As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, Abbott focuses on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias or irregular heartbeats. The Medical Device Sales Representative will promote and sell Abbott medical devices to physicians, medical laboratories, distributors, and hospitals within an assigned territory. Responsibilities include contacting, visiting, and educating clients on products, building and executing business plans, providing training and technical troubleshooting, managing inventory, analyzing sales statistics, attending trade shows, and resolving problems. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, experience with cardiac products, two plus years of sales or clinical support experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and familiarity with medical device industry policies and procedures. The role requires travel up to 50% of the time and involves continuous standing and walking for prolonged periods.
