This is not a graphic design position. This is specifically an event designer role for the creative department within a destination management company. Event design experience is required.
ABOUT THE POSITION

As an Event Designer and Producer, you are a fearless creative professional who continually strives to over-deliver client expectations. You have a keen eye for design and a stylish flair when creating full-service event proposals, presenting, and/ or doing custom site visits for clients. You are a team player with experience in event planning and creative design, as well as the ability to perform effectively in a diverse environment, with clients as your top priority. You are self-motivated with an extreme attention to detail in written and oral communication. You are a career-minded individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy work environment where excellence is the norm and who excels in business built on relationships. You will be required to be on site roughly 20% of the time for any programs that require
Knowledge of the Austin area resources (Props, Décor, production, linen, entertainment, etc.) and local geography, hotels and locations is a plus!

WORK HOURS:
The position does not have a specific work hour requirement. Rather, the workload is tremendous, unpredictable, and seasonal. During our busy season, January through May, you would typically work a minimum of 50 hours a week, including some nights and weekends.
