This responsibility includes the development of security and safety policies and procedures, regulatory and legislative compliance, Security Guard management, alarm response, branch and corporate building security, customer safety, physical crime investigations, workplace violence, fire and life safety. Position Overview As a Regional Security Manager in the Central Region, you will lead the planning and execution of security programs at JPMorganChase corporate facilities in the greater Chicago area. You will develop and implement enhanced security protocols, procedures, and policies to mitigate threats and vulnerabilities. You will serve as the Global Security liaison to the LOB site leadership teams within the region. This role involves travel with occasional overnight stays to promote programs that achieve business and security objectives. Job Responsibilities Respond to incidents and coordinate staff follow-up, including necessary investigation and risk mitigation, in partnership with LOB business management, corporate partners, and local law enforcement. Develop and maintain relationships with law enforcement agencies, key LOB partners and management; participate in management meetings to maintain visibility and communications; coordinate plans to mitigate known civil disturbances, protests, etc. that have proximity to or target company locations and personnel. Manage guard force in assigned facilities. Perform periodic security reviews and risk assessments at assigned facilities and conduct periodic security and personal safety training. Support security infrastructure projects at assigned properties. Be available for after-hours response to emergency incidents. Travel occasionally to assist with corporate events security and executive protection support as needed. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills College degree from a 4-year accredited university and 10+ years of security management experience with corporate security, local/state/federal law enforcement, or military. Hands-on experience in risk analysis, identifying vulnerabilities, threat modelling, and performing security reviews. Advanced analytical skills, decision-making capability, strong critical thinking, and comfort operating in fast-paced, dynamic/ambiguous environments from strategic to tactical levels. Strong security product knowledge and investigative experience. Attention to detail and results-oriented with effective planning and follow-through. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills; ability to work with multiple teams and lead a team or work unit. Experience in information gathering, tracking, consolidation, reporting, dashboards, and presentations. Knowledge of physical security technology systems and familiarity with physical and procedural security concepts. Self-starter, motivated, flexible, and able to operate with limited supervision under multiple competing timelines. Effective communication in speaking and writing, including proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
