Since our founding in 1986, we have graded and authenticated millions of items. We employ more than 1,900 people across our headquarters in Santa Ana and offices in Jersey City, Tokyo, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Toronto, Guadalajara, Dallas, and Paris.

We are looking for a Head of Security to join Collectors. The Head of Security is responsible for providing a secure environment for all insured products and employees at all Collectors locations. Leading a team of highly responsible and professional security personnel across all locations, both local and abroad. The workforce may be assigned to work at any time necessary to maintain the integrity of all valuables entrusted to us.

You’ll report to the Senior Director, Global Real Estate & Security . The ideal candidate will be local to either our Santa Ana, CA or Jersey City, NJ headquarters, but fully remote candidates who can travel up to 50% will also be considered.

What You’ll Do:

Leadership + Administration

• Manage Physical Security Management team across global locations
• Set, manage, and track strategic deliverables, improvements, and KPIs across functional areas: Documentation, People, Processes, Technology
• Guide global guard team performance management, training, and career development; handle management team escalations
• Develop and guide global security risk assessments and management plans
• Own global security staffing, buildout/infrastructure, and opex budgets (~$3-4M annually)
• Collaborate with Asset Protection team on high-priority investigations
• Oversee security vehicle management program
• Collaborate on global insurance policy management to meet infrastructure criteria
• Lead by example, championing all company policies including safety, attendance, and security

Security Infrastructure + Systems

In collaboration with Security Lead and Technical Security Teams -

• Provide real estate lease review and support new site selection
• Support global VMS/ACM structure, processes, and standards
• Support global security construction standards

Secure Transports + Shows

In collaboration with Security Lead Team -

• Collaborate on global secure transport processes
• Coordinate trade show security staffing and processes

Emergency Response + Safety

• Develop and roll out Global EAP program
• Collaborate on Business Continuity initiatives
• Support global safety initiatives under the Workplace Team
• Oversee global travel safety and executive protection programs

Who You Are:

• 7+ years of proven leadership in physical security or asset protection
• 3+ years in a Director or Head role in Physical Security or Asset Protection
• Ability to identify inefficiencies and develop effective solutions
• Collaborative, data-driven leader capable of change management
• Supportive servant leader who develops internal talent
• Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Google Docs, Sheets, and familiar with Microsoft Word & Excel
• Valid Driver's license

Salary Range: $154,997 - $194,82. Actual compensation varies based on location, experience, and skills.
