What You'll Do As the Hotel Manager, you'll lead all aspects of hotel operations. Your goal will be to maximize the performance of the hotel by providing the highest possible quality of guest service and product, encouraging a positive culture, and delivering remarkable financial returns to investors. You will also ensure employees feel the heartfelt Kimpton care through implementing fun programs and activities while focusing on employee development. Some of Your Responsibilities Include Be in the public areas during peak times, greeting guests and offering assistance as needed. Tour the operating departments daily, ensuring smooth operation and staffing in all areas, making adjustments as needed via department heads. Inspect rooms regularly (weekly at minimum) with the Housekeeping Manager, Property Engineer, and GM. Develop and supervise programs that promote a positive work environment for all employees, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings and quarterly check-ins with operational department heads to review training, financials, goals, and performance. Develop managers for future advancement through proficiency training and corporate-sponsored programs. Assist in building a positive, team-oriented environment focused on guest satisfaction through employee development and motivation. Prepare and conduct operational management interviews, following hiring procedures. Assist with developing and implementing a comprehensive sales and marketing plan to optimize rate and occupancy. Review and approve operating expenses, holding monthly financial reviews with department managers, MODs, and supervisors. Ensure department heads maintain budgeted productivity levels and adhere to Kimpton standard checkbook procedures. Perform other duties as requested by senior management. What You Bring 3+ years management experience in hospitality or a similar industry. Bachelor's degree preferred. Ability to diplomatically handle difficult situations and people, maintaining integrity. Experience with Opera and Microsoft Office Suite is helpful.
