Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant to join our team. The clinician will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, to patients with a variety of mental health conditions in a hybrid residential treatment and intensive outpatient setting in addition to history and physicals and medical follow-up. This role involves collaborating with our team of psychiatrists and other team members to provide care to those in treatment. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients.
• Complete history and physicals
• Medical follow-up 
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychopharmacological treatments.
• Provide psychotherapy to patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
• Participate in case conferences, treatment planning meetings, and other collaborative efforts.
• Stay current with advancements in psychiatric care and participate in continuing education activities.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant
• Active and unrestricted APRN license in Tennessee 
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority in Tennessee
• Active and unrestricted APRN license in Kentucky as well, preferred, or willing to obtain
• Two years of experience working as a PMHNP or PA-C preferred. 
• One year of experience in addiction medicine.
• Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of psychiatric conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Must be within commuting distance of Nashville, TN. 
• Must be able to report onsite three days per week.
