About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Medical Insurance Verification Specialist to join our client’s established medical clinic in Stone Oak . If you're detail-oriented, great on the phone, and have 2+ years of experience verifying insurance and working with billing, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits
- Contact insurance providers to confirm coverage for procedures
- Educate patients on benefits and out-of-pocket costs
- Obtain referrals and update patient records
- Ensure accuracy in all insurance and billing documentation
What You’ll Need:
- 2+ years of medical insurance verification experience (Required)
- Experience with medical billing and insurance providers
- Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- No visible tattoos (Clinic policy)
