We are searching for a passionate interior designer who is creative, thinks outside the box, and has the vision to see a finished project. We expect a designer with Anne Rogers Interiors to be in touch with design trends and research and have the instinctive ability to create a space that is both beautiful and functional. The ideal candidate will have a base knowledge of residential interior design and enthusiasm to learn and grow within the field.

As a designer with Anne Rogers Interiors, you will be required to confidently guide homeowners through every step of high-end residential projects from initial planning phases through construction and final completion. You will need to be a creative individual who can efficiently manage your own schedule while multitasking between design and administrative tasks on various residential design projects.

Job Responsibilities:

· Interview new customers and measure existing conditions

· Develop design concepts within customer budgets

· Participate in design strategy sessions and collaborate with the design team on research, concept, and presentation development

· Research best practice materials and new design trends/concepts

· Work with Digital Design team to create plans and drawings relating to millwork, plumbing, tile, cabinetry, and more

· Collaborate with the design team on presentation creation and client meeting preparation

· Gather samples and specify finish materials

· Acquire and deliver samples, fabric, hardware, fixtures, etc as needed

· Work with support staff to quote, quantify, and order materials

· Visit job sites and meet with installers and homeowner throughout the remodeling process

· Track projects, timelines, and progress and prepares reports and communications for team, partners, and clients

· Initiate and manage relationships with clients and partners

· Attends industry and organizational events

· Support office staff with paperwork and office organization as needed

· Participates in team projects and business growth initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements:

· Proven working experience in the residential design industry including consultations and space planning

· Strong knowledge and skill in product selection and design conception

· Reliable transportation for self and needed materials throughout the central Ohio area

· Portfolio of design work

· High level of integrity and respect for peers

· Detail oriented with accurate data entry skills

· Resourceful and have strong retention and recall abilities

· Organizational and prioritizing skills with ability to adapt to frequently changing priorities

· Basic technological skills including MS Office proficiency

· Knowledge of furniture manufacturing industry and/or purchasing experience is preferred

· Education in design or related field is preferred

· Skills in SketchUp and AutoCAD preferre
