Job Description

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and analytical Inventory Planner to join our growing apparel brand. This role is key to making sure we always have the right products available across our multiple channels. The ideal candidate will forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and build reporting tools that help the team make smart, data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Forecast demand across B2B, DTC, and Amazon channels by analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and seasonality.
  • Plan and place inventory orders for blanks and finished goods to maintain optimal stock levels and support “always in stock” core styles.
  • Monitor inventory turnover, sell-through rates, and replenishment needs to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Build and maintain dashboards to track sales performance, inventory health, and overages, providing actionable insights for purchasing and merchandising decisions.
  • Develop and execute strategies for slow-moving or excess inventory, such as bundling, promotions, or donations.
  • Evaluate and implement forecasting and inventory management tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in inventory planning, demand forecasting, or supply chain management in the apparel industry (women’s fashion preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with large datasets.
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) and data visualization tools.
  • Understanding of fashion cycles and multi-channel inventory dynamics.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hybrid environment in Los Angeles.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Why Join Us

  • Play a key role in shaping inventory strategy for a fast-growing apparel brand.
  • Drive decisions with your forecasting and data insights.
  • Hybrid work model – in office 3 days a week.
  • Competitive pay ($70K–$75K), health benefits, PTO, and 401(k).
  • Opportunity to build and refine tools that will scale with company growth.
