Description We are looking for an experienced IT Director to lead and manage the technology infrastructure and operations of our organization. Based in Los Angeles, California, this role requires an individual with a strong background in IT systems, network administration, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will be skilled at overseeing IT strategies, ensuring optimal performance, and driving innovation across the organization. Responsibilities: - Oversee the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring all systems and networks function effectively and efficiently. - Manage and maintain Windows desktop and server platforms, including the administration of distributed networks. - Develop and implement IT policies, security protocols, and best practices to safeguard company data and systems. - Evaluate and integrate cloud technologies, CRM platforms, and ERP solutions to optimize business processes. - Collaborate with stakeholders to identify IT needs and provide tailored solutions to meet organizational goals. - Configure and manage VLANs and subnetting to ensure seamless network performance. - Lead the deployment and maintenance of backup technologies, endpoint management systems, and communication tools. - Provide technical support for hardware, software, and deskside issues, ensuring minimal downtime. - Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend upgrades or improvements to existing systems. - Manage vendor contracts and relationships to ensure cost-effective procurement and maintenance of IT resources. Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of IT experience in a law firm environment. - At least 7-10 years of hands-on experience with Windows desktop and server platforms, including network administration. - Strong understanding of VLANs, subnetting, and network configurations. - Proficiency in Office 365 and familiarity with platforms such as Accounting Seed, Litify, and Salesforce. - Knowledge of endpoint management tools, communication systems, and cloud-based solutions. - Microsoft certification is preferred but not required. - Demonstrated expertise in Cisco technologies, backup systems, and IT deployments. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead diverse technical teams.
