Job Details

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload of diverse employment law matters, including wage and hour claims, discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination cases.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
• Engage in settlement negotiations.
• Lead deposition preparation, prepare for and take depositions.
• Oversee and adhere to litigation deadlines.
• Prepare for and attend mediations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in civil litigation
• Employment law experience strongly preferred
• JD from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the California State Bar
• Familiarity with AI tools and their application in legal practice
• Bilingual skills in Spanish are a huge plus
