About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Mail Clerk to support mailroom operations for a leading global logistics and supply chain organization. This role ensures the accurate processing, sorting, scanning, and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail across dedicated teams. In addition, the Mail Clerk may assist with invoice handling and administrative tasks based on team and country-specific requirements.
Job Description As a Mail Clerk, you will play a key role in maintaining efficient mailroom operations and providing administrative support. Your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving, sorting, and distributing incoming mail and packages promptly.
- Processing outgoing mail, including weighing, applying postage, and ensuring compliance with postal regulations.
- Operating mailroom equipment such as postage meters, envelope openers, and letter folding machines.
- Maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing mail and shipments.
- Monitoring and ordering mailroom supplies (envelopes, stamps, packaging materials).
- Providing front desk coverage during lunch breaks and PTO absences.
- Managing incoming calls and directing them to appropriate contacts.
- Greeting and checking in guests while following security procedures.
- Assisting with FedEx shipments and managing shared inbox for shipping requests.
- Supporting invoice processing for mailroom vendors (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS, TNT Express, Royal Mail, Canada Post, Purolator, Pitney Bowes, Iron Mountain).
- Tracking and managing postage machine leases and monthly invoice payments.
- Performing other duties as assigned based on team and country-specific needs.
Qualifications Required: - High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a mailroom or administrative support role.
Preferred: - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of postal regulations and mailroom equipment.
