Cherry Road Media - Newspaper Operations Coordinator

Cherry Road Media is seeking to hire an Office Coordinator to work full time at The Examiner newspaper. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the team. This position will be responsible for addressing phone calls, supporting clients in-person, and overall newspaper office management duties.

Job Summary

The Newspaper Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the daily operations of the newspaper, ensuring efficient workflow and supporting the distribution of the print and digital editions. This role involves working closely with various departments, including editorial, production, and distribution, to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the daily operations of the newspaper, including print and digital editions.
  • Liaise between editorial, production, and distribution teams to ensure timely publication.
  • Monitor inventory levels of paper, ink, and other supplies, and coordinate reordering as necessary.
  • Assist in scheduling and overseeing maintenance of printing and distribution equipment.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Prepare reports on distribution statistics, and other operational data.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
