Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant opportunity in Fresno with awesome clinic that serves underserved community.Make a difference!12 hour shifts are an option.New graduates welcome!This is a place to settle and stay.Focus is strong care for surrounding community and staying long term matters.
About the Pediatric Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner opportunity
- Busy office location with strong community presence
- Office hours 8:00 am 8:00 pm, Monday- Friday, Saturday am hours, closed on Sundays
- Up to 40 patients a day (combination of Telemedicine and in person clinic visits)
- Patient ages 0-21
- Scribe available to allow Provider to only see patients, make diagnosis, and decide on treatment plan
- EMR is home grown but Scribe does most of data entry
- See patients for well-baby exams, annual physicals, acute visits, immunizations, and medication follow ups
- Daily schedule is a mix of Physicals and acute visits for URI, UTI, asthma, injury, rash, and headache
- Clinic offers evening hours and Saturday am hours allowing opportunity for Provider to work extra hours for great hourly rate.Not required.
Requirements of the Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Pediatric opportunity
- Masters Degree with Pediatric or Family Medicine Focus
- National Certification
- California State Medical License
- DEA
- Strong interest in settling in Practice and building relationships with families.Desire long term commitment
- Career or training focus on Pediatrics- preceptorship, job, mentorship, continued education courses
- Strong communication to work with medical team, patients, and families in a fast paced environment.
- Spanish speaking is greatly appreciated but Medical Assistants and translate system in place for help when needed
Perks of the Pediatric Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner opportunity
- Base salary is $140,000-155,000 annual based on Pediatric or Family Medicine experience
- Sign on bonus of $10,000
- Productivity bonus quarterly (number of patients seen)

- PTO is 2 weeks with 1 week of sick time
- Up to Date subscription covered

- Licensing and renewals paid
- Opportunity to cover evening and occasional Saturday for extra income
