Direct hire - benefits and PTO included

Salary - $120k to $130k per year

Role Overview:

Our real estate and technology client is seeking a Project Manager with 4-8 years of experience to lead operational, cost, and budgeting-based projects before transitioning into a more technical project management role. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and financially savvy project manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to expand into technical project management over time.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Budgeting: Lead cost-focused projects, manage budgets, track expenses, and optimize financial resources using tools like Microsoft Project, Excel, and Monday.com.

Execution & Transition: Improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and collaborate with finance, procurement, and operations. Transition into technical project management over time.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Align project scope with business goals, communicate key updates, and provide insights on cost control and project success.

Risk & Quality Management: Identify financial risks, implement budget controls, and ensure project compliance and quality standards.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 4–8 years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on cost control, budgeting, and financial project oversight.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered).
  • Proficiency in budgeting tools, cost forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Monday.com.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to manage operational and financial projects first, with an interest in transitioning into more technical projects.

Preferred:

  • PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or other project management certifications.
  • Experience with financial modeling and cost analysis.
  • Exposure to technical project management methodologies or tools.
