Job Description

A financial firm in Stamford, CT is seeking a sharp and motivated Public Relations Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience working in the Public Relations field, with exposure to financial services. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with high curiosity and excellent communication skills.

MUST have PR & finance experience to be considered.

Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite per week

Salary range: 80k - 95k base plus bonus

Hours: 8:30am - 6:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and support media engagement efforts
• Conduct research and assist with the organization of marketing campaigns
• Adapt leadership content (such as research and commentary) into media-friendly formats
• Assist with marketing deliverables including campaigns, sales materials, and digital projects
• Draft and edit communications and marketing collateral
• Track and analyze communications and marketing metrics
• Manage firmwide awards submissions and recognition programs
• Ensure consistency of brand messaging across all materials and distribution channels
• Additional projects as assigned to support the Marketing and Communications team

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of experience in public relations and finance industry is required
• Bachelor's degree required
• Polished verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Strong team player with the ability to take initiative
• Background in client service environment at a finance-focused PR agency
• Experience working in a fast-paced setting with high-level stakeholders
