The role you'll contribute:

\n \n\n \n

The Radiation Oncology office nurse demonstrated a cancer specific knowledge base and clinical expertise in cancer care to provide nursing care to patients receiving Radiation Therapy under the direction of the physician and/or nurse manager in compliance with established standards and protocols of the practice and AdventHealth goals and objectives.

\n \n\n \n

• Functions independently and interdependently with the radiation oncology team in providing quality patient care.
\n \n\n \n
• Provides safe and effective patient care under direction of the physician and/or nurse manager.
\n \n\n \n
• Performs but not limited to: Initial and ongoing assessment / Preparing charts for evaluation and management visits / Charting radiation induced toxicities
\n \n\n \n
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic measures as prescribed by the physician and utilizing guidelines established by AdventHealth.
\n \n\n \n
• Schedules patients for procedures, diagnostic testing or specialists, as directed by the physician.
\n \n\n \n\n

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

\n \n\n \n

Minimum qualifications :

\n \n\n \n\n

\n
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
\n \n\n \n
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience
\n \n\n \n
• Current Florida Registered Nurse licensure required.
\n \n\n \n
• BLS/CPR certification required.
\n \n\n \n\n

Preferred qualifications :

\n \n\n \n\n

\n
• Oncology nursing experience
\n \n\n \n
• Oncology Certification
\n \n\n \n\n
