We are one of the largest private-practice Ear, Nose, and Throat groups in the United States, with 13 convenient locations across Indiana. Our providers deliver comprehensive ENT care to patients ranging from pediatrics to the elderly.
Role SummaryWe are seeking a Runner to join our busy Carmel clinic. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and wants hands-on patient interaction.
The Runner is responsible for escorting patients to exam rooms, obtaining vital signs, reviewing medical history and medications, and entering information into the EMR system. Additional duties include keeping exam rooms stocked, cleaned, and sanitized, while assisting providers and supporting overall clinic flow.
This position offers growth opportunities, with cross-training in patient check-in and other support areas of the clinic.
Key ResponsibilitiesEscort patients from check-in to exam rooms.
Collect vital signs (height/weight).
Conduct patient interviews to update medical history, medications, and allergies.
Enter data into SRS / Next Tech EMR.
Maintain clean, sanitized, and fully stocked exam rooms.
Ensure efficient patient flow to support providers.
Provide comfort and assistance to patients and families.
Assist providers with procedures and documentation as needed.
Support administrative and clinic operations when required.
No diploma or certification required.
Previous exposure to rooming patients or working in a medical office strongly preferred.
Professionalism and strong communication skills are a must.
Ability to multitask in a high-volume clinic setting.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Entry-level healthcare role with on-the-job training
Exposure to a wide range of patients (pediatric to elderly)
