Responsibilities Direct and enforce the Company Safety Program to protect employees and vehicles and maintain safe working conditions. Maintain the Safety Program Manual, including facility daily inspections, hazard inspections, safety assessments, OSHA 300, MSDS reporting, and advise management on problem correction. Conduct recurrent training of drivers and supervisors on all safety‑sensitive functions, including quarterly and yearly sessions. Facilitate OSHA and ADA compliance. Lead safety meetings and follow up on all issues with management. Coordinate with Corporate Risk Services on new training materials and reporting compliance. Aid in the investigation of accidents/incidents. Perform monthly driver evaluations and provide additional training if needed. Regularly perform field checks to ensure drivers follow all policies and procedures. Assist the trainer as needed. Perform additional duties as required. Qualifications Excellent written and oral communication skills. Valid CDL Class A, B, or C driver’s license (Passenger Endorsement if operating shuttles with 15+ passengers) as required by DOT regulations. DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner’s Certificate). Knowledge of DOT regulations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Prior experience as a Safety Coordinator with training responsibilities. Ability to work a flexible shift. Some college preferred.
