Job Description

Bondi Sushi currently operates 3 restaurants in Miami, with 2 more coming this year! We are looking for a dynamic, self-starter with a passion for hospitality and sales to help us introduce Bondi to your city!

Catering Sales

  • Canvass for new business to generate catering sales
  • Contact new and lapsed catering customers via phone or email to solicit for new catering orders
  • Utilize local store marketing tactics to increase awareness of the catering program
  • Provide tasting for potential new clients
  • Collaborates with chefs to create sushi menus that align with client needs and event theme
  • Leads sales efforts, builds client relationships, and ensures catering orders reflect client requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hires, trains, and supervises catering staff, ensuring efficient and effective service

Field Marketing

  • Book + execute off-site sampling events
  • Confirm and coordinate all promotional collateral needed
  • Engage with all guests and confirm enticing incentive for them to visit restaurant
  • Track success of all promos
  • Ideate and execute in-store events i.e. product launches
  • Identify local influencers (whether on social media or traditional) and regularly engage around brand news
  • Develop partnerships with local businesses so Bondi is always top of mind to their clients/members

Operational Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all catering event execution, including but not limited to: on-time food preparation, product presentation, food quality, quantity and consistency.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health & safety requirements
  • Ensure aesthetic standards are maintained across all internal & client-facing catering elements
  • Communicate with all internal and external departments, vendors and clients on event details. Provide customer service through client interaction pre, during and post event.
  • Effectively deploy 3rd party delivery services such as Door Dash to staff deliveries as needed
  • Hours include evenings, weekends and variable shifts

  • Detail-oriented and organized individual with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively meet all deadlines
