Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for unloading grain and grain by-products in addition to performing regular cleaning tasks required to maintain a grain elevator facility.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (including any physical demands)
The following are the basic qualifications:
Equipment Used
Use of proper personal protective equipment
Shovels of different types
Basic hand tools and power tools
Large industrial equipment
Working Conditions
Requires frequent extensions of regular working hours, including nights and weekends with variable lighting conditions
Requires walking/working outdoors, alternating between climate controlled areas and areas with varying temperatures and in various weather and other atmospheric conditions such as dust and noise, dust masks and hearing protection will be available
Employee Supervision
No direct supervisory responsibilities
