Job Description

*Job Summary*
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle different types of vehicles, including but not limited to tankers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and dump trucks.

*Duties*
* Operate various types of delivery vehicles including tractor-trailers, roll-off trucks, and forklifts.
* Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
* Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
* Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status and any issues that arise during transport.
* Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.

*Requirements*
* Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated.
* Experience driving manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
* Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks is a plus.
* Ability to navigate using GPS systems or maps effectively.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
* Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently.
* Must be at least 21 years old due to insurance requirements.
