LHH is actively working on a direct hire search for a Senior Financial Analyst with a division of a large, publicly traded company in the Overland Park area. This position is open due to a promotion and will report to the Director of Finance. The ideal candidate will have either a public accounting background or 2-5 years of financial analysis experience. There will be opportunity for upward mobility in the future due to significant growth the company is experiencing.
The Senior Financial Analyst job duties and responsibilities include:
- Development of financial forecasts and budgets
- Assist with the annual operating plan
- Participate in strategic planning initiatives
- Perform financial modeling, trend analysis, KPIs and reporting for management
- Identify and implement process improvements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Comparable Field
- Public accounting or corporate financial analyst experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
