Mid-Level Staff Accountant
Location: Woodland Hills, CA
Pay: $31.00 - $36.00/hr (DOE)
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Our client, a leading construction firm specializing in affordable housing, is looking for a Mid-Level Staff Accountant to join their team in Woodland Hills. This company is known for its commitment to excellence and dedication to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

In this role, you will be crucial in managing financial operations, ensuring project costs and budgets are accurately tracked throughout the planning, execution, and closing phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the general ledger and prepare financial statements.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closes.
• Perform account reconciliations and support audit processes.
• Provide financial data analysis to help with budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and assist with tax preparation.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Staff Accountant, preferably in the construction or real estate industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
