Annual Salary – around $72k-$82k, varying depending on years of experience

A well-established nonprofit organization is seeking a compassionate and experienced Program Manager to lead the social services team at a newly developed supportive housing residence in the Bronx. This role is ideal for a licensed clinical social worker who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about housing equity, mental health, and community wellness.

The Program Manager will oversee a team of social workers and case managers, ensuring high-quality, person-centered services that promote stability, dignity, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, mentor, and support a multidisciplinary team of social service professionals.
• Oversee service delivery, ensuring compliance with agency standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff as needed.
• Monitor and ensure timely and accurate documentation in the agency’s case management system.
• Track occupancy, demographic data, and service utilization; complete required reports for city and state agencies.
• Collaborate with leadership to assess tenant needs and implement wellness initiatives, support groups, and life skills programming.
• Facilitate monthly community meetings and respond to tenant feedback and grievances.
• Coordinate with on-site psychiatric and health providers to ensure integrated care.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews to maintain high standards of service delivery.
• Monitor rent payments and collaborate with housing staff to prevent tenancy risks.
• Manage unit turnover and coordinate with housing placement systems to fill vacancies.
• Uphold confidentiality and ensure culturally responsive, inclusive services for all tenants.
• Provide crisis support and emergency response as part of a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Requirements:

• LMSW or LCSW in good standing.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in social services or behavioral health.
• Familiarity with NYC housing systems and case management platforms.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Strong clinical background in mental health and/or substance use.
