Overview Full‑time Surgery Scheduler at Durango Surgery Center, part of United Surgical Partners International (USPI). You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth surgical operations. Responsibilities Daily maintenance of the surgery schedule and all aspects of the scheduling process. Strategize and problem‑solve to maintain high levels of customer service with scheduling coordinators from all doctors’ offices and operating room staff. Diffuse difficult scheduling conflicts efficiently with strategy and strong communication skills. Collaborate with the Business Office Manager and operating room staff to ensure smooth operations. Work weekdays only; no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required. Qualifications Minimum 2–4 years of hospital or medical office experience. Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills. Excellent phone etiquette and exceptional customer service abilities. Proficient in medical terminology and professional appearance. Ability to use time wisely in preparing work area to meet high‑paced demand. Demonstrated desire to work and improve the hospital as a whole.
