Keystone Education Center (KEC) is a nonprofit microschool in Vero Beach, FL, catering to neurodivergent students with autism, adhd, or other similar learning challenges, who benefit from smaller classes and customized curriculum. The center offers high-quality skills training through a hands-on project-based learning approach.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Teaching Assistant role at Keystone Education Center. The Teaching Assistant will be responsible for assisting in classroom activities, supporting students in various subjects, and fostering a positive learning environment for neurodivergent students. School hours are 9-2pm M-F.

Qualifications

• Assistant Teaching and Education skills
• Energetic, joyfilled and passionate
• Strong Communication skills
• Experience in working with children
• Patience, empathy, and understanding for neurodivergent students
• Ability to collaborate with teachers and other staff
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field a plus
• ESE certification a plus
