LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Ambulatory Care for a travel nursing job in Washington, District of Columbia.

Job Description & Requirements

Must have DC license in hand

Certs REQ: BLS
Closed on observed holidays

Skills Req: Interpretation of laboratory results, Medication reconciliation, Pain assessment, Patient Health Questionnaire/History/Allergies, Pulse Oximetry, Vital Signs - Blood Pressure, Respirations, Temperature, Pulse, Use of AED, Altered Level of Consciousness, Oxygen administration (Nasal cannula, Face Mask), Foley Catheter insertion, Labeling of specimens, Universal precautions, Acute experience and critical thinking skills are important, General nursing experience in nursing, urinary catheter changes, & assisting with or setting up procedures is more important than previous travel experience.

Float Requirements: Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.

Special Requirements: Urodynamic Studys, Video Urodynamic Studies (VUDS) - Because the provider uses a C-Arm, RN is required to wear a lead apron (regularly 1 day per week. Sometimes an additional case 1 to 2 cases per week.) Candidate must be able to tolerate wearing the lead apron

2 Years Minimum Experience Required
Must have 1 prior travel assignment
