Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with recent Epic experience and required certifications for circulating in various surgical specialties.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Operating Room position in a hospital setting
• Circulate in a variety of cases including craniotomies, laparoscopic, and endovascular surgeries (excluding CV Surgery)
• Day shift schedule: 8:45 a.m. to 9:15 p.m.
• Weekend on-call required 1-2 times per month
• Holiday on-call shifts as applicable
• Uses Epic EMR system and Epic experience within the last 12 months is required
• Must be able to independently circulate a wide range of surgical cases
• First-time travelers and local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Holiday on-call shifts may be assigned

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active RN license (TN or Compact)
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Current AHA BLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Recent experience circulating in all surgical areas except CV Surgery
• Epic EMR experience within the past 12 months
