Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a PACU RN with at least 3 years of perioperative nursing experience and an active OR RN license for a day shift flex contract.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Position is in a hospital PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) setting
• Works day shift with flexible scheduling
• Responsible for care of patients pre-anesthesia, post-anesthesia Phase I and II, and intraoperative monitoring of local anesthesia cases
• Involves providing sedation for select procedures
• Regularly scheduled on-call rotation for the PACU
• Role includes advocacy for patients throughout the perioperative experience
• Supervises and directs assigned personnel in PACU
• Supports hospital policies, procedures, mission, vision, and values
• Local candidates are accepted as there is no stated radius restriction

• Active Oregon RN license required and must be currently active
• Minimum of 3 years recent perioperative nursing experience
