\nDosimetrist - Dosimetrist
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Provide care to patients from adolescent through geriatric age groups receiving radiation therapy treatments
\n• Work with daily census of 30-40 patients
\n• Measure and generate radiation dose distributions and calculations under direction of Oncologist and/or Medical Physicist
\n• Design treatment plans and perform dose-volume histogram (DVH) analysis
\n• Operate specialized equipment including 2 linear accelerators and 1 CT simulator
\n• Perform special procedures including SRS, SBRT, and HDR treatments
\n• Work with patients with all disease sites (liver, brain, lung, breast, prostate, bone, head/neck, etc.)
\n• Required certification: CMD (Certified Medical Dosimetrist)
\n• Minimum 2 years of experience required
\n• Epic charting system experience preferred
\n• Valid California state license required at time of submission
\n• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
\n• AHA certifications must be in hand at time of submittal
\n• 50 miles travel requirement applies
\n• Complete orientation modules through e-learning system
\n• Interdisciplinary support includes interpretation services, phlebotomy, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary
