Job Description

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and fabrication, is seeking an experience welder fabricator to join their dedicated team. As a welder-fabricator, you will be an essential part of the industrial operations supporting skilled craftsmanship and precision work. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Welder-Fabricator

Location: Alexandria, AL

Pay Range: $18.00- $23.00

Shift: Monday - Saturday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

What's the Job?

• Perform MIG welding on various materials using 0.35/0.45 wire
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings accurately
• Use a tape measure to ensure precise measurements
• Operate overhead cranes to move materials safely and efficiently
• Participate in weld testing, including fillet weld (T-Joint) tests at designated locations

What's Needed?

• Proven welding experience with 4+ years preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Comfortable working with overhead cranes and measuring tools
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
