We have Yard Driver positions starting at a large distribution center in Suffolk, VA. NO CDL REQUIRED! We offer weekly pay, paid and a career path with advancement opportunities! Must have 1 year of warehouse experience to be considered. SHIFTS: + Friday-Sunday, 6am-6:30pm ($19.28 per hour) . Shifts: Weekend Shifts. Employment Types: Full Time. Pay Rate: $19.28 / hour Duties: + As a yard driver, you will work in the truck yard to organize tractor-trailers and ensure trailers are shifted on and off the dock. CDL is not required, BUT a plus! + Stand on your feet for at least 10-12 hours, reach overhead, twist, turn, and squat throughout the shift + Maintain a safe and clean workspace throughout the duration of your shift + Effective communication skills and team work . Position Requirements: + Ability to lift parts weighing up to 70 lbs. without powered equipment assistance + Visual capacity to clearly recognize, read, and understand standard operating procedures, signs, part number labels, and instructions + Ability to see/hear and distinguish sounds and signs that alert, instruct, or notify one of danger, such as warning signs, horns, alarms, speech, and vehicular/pedestrian traffic + Ability to coordinate maneuvering of varied bilateral hand and foot controls at a rapid pace + Ability to utilize personal protective equipment, which may include gloves, safety harnesses, and safety shoes + Flexibility to work in either a hot or cold work environment Requirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Stand for Shift Duration, Must be at least 18 years old.Able to Lift 75 pounds., required education: No Education Requirement. The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $19.28 - $19.28 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
