Role Overview

The Karat School Project (KSP) is seeking a passionate, strategic, and mission-aligned Communications & Marketing Manager to shape and elevate our public voice. This role is responsible for managing and executing a communications strategy that inspires donors, connects communities, and positions KSP as a leader in education equity for girls in Côte d’Ivoire. The ideal candidate is data-driven, trend-aware, and deeply intentional about storytelling and brand alignment across all platforms.

This is more than a marketing fellowship—it's an opportunity to amplify the voice of an organization rooted in dignity, empowerment, and global impact.

Key Responsibilities Marketing Strategy & Campaigns
  • Implement data-informed marketing strategies that support fundraising goals and visibility objectives.
  • Create and manage seasonal and thematic campaigns that reflect KSP’s mission and drive audience engagement.
  • Track and report on marketing performance metrics; adjust strategies for impact.
Brand & Messaging
  • Ensure consistency and integrity of the KSP brand voice across all platforms.
  • Collaborate with leadership to shape messaging for reports, newsletters, donor updates, and appeals.
  • Produce compelling visual and written content that resonates with both global donors and local stakeholders.
Public Relations & Media
  • Curate a list & outreach strategy for subject relevant multi-media outlets
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with press and media outlets.
  • Craft press releases, op-eds, and articles to boost public recognition.
  • Prepare talking points, speeches, and media kits for leadership.
Social Media Management
  • Develop and execute a social media calendar across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X).
  • Use platform analytics to refine content strategy, grow followers, and deepen engagement.
  • Monitor trends in digital storytelling and non-profit social impact narratives.
