Your Opportunity:
Fleet Landing Atlantic Beach is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Director of Wellness to oversee our Wellness, Transportation, and Enrichment programs. This role is responsible for developing innovative wellness offerings, managing fitness and transportation operations, and ensuring exceptional resident experiences across all dimensions of wellness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic vision and thought leadership for a holistic wellness philosophy that supports physical, intellectual, social, emotional, spiritual, and vocational well-being across the community.
  • Lead the development, evaluation, and continuous improvement of innovative wellness and life enrichment programs grounded in evidence-based practices, emerging industry trends, and resident insights.
  • Oversee departmental operations with a focus on strategic alignment, quality standards, program effectiveness, and resident engagement.
  • Develop, allocate, and manage budgets for Wellness, Life Enrichment, and related service areas, ensuring fiscal responsibility and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Guide the creation of communication materials-including newsletters, calendars, and program announcements-that effectively promote programs and enhance resident engagement.
  • Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with residents, families, staff, and community partners to strengthen program relevance and community connection.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, teamwork, and professional growth, empowering staff to deliver exceptional service and creative programming.
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and accessible environment by upholding organizational policies and championing adaptive, age-appropriate, and person-centered wellness opportunities for residents of all ability levels.
  • Provide leadership support and high-level oversight to transportation and fitness functions as part of an integrated approach to resident wellness.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of management or leadership experience , ideally within wellness, life enrichment, senior living, healthcare, or related service environments.
  • Broad understanding of wellness, life enrichment, and engagement strategies; experience in a senior living or CCRC environment is a plus.
  • Demonstrated skills in strategic planning, team leadership, program development, and organizational collaboration.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office technology.
  • Ability to inspire and support staff, work cross-functionally, and deliver exceptional service to older adults.
