We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Fountain Inn, South Carolina. In this Contract to permanent employment opportunity, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate tracking, management, and analysis of inventory within our manufacturing environment. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate across departments, including purchasing and operations.

Responsibilities:
• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure proper stock levels.
• Conduct regular inventory audits, including annual inventory reviews.
• Analyze material requirements for production jobs and issue materials accordingly.
• Collaborate with operations and purchasing teams to verify and optimize bills of materials (BOM).
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to generate inventory reports and track data effectively.
• Investigate discrepancies in inventory and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in bringing materials back and ensuring proper costing procedures.
• Perform detailed data entry to support inventory tracking and reporting.
• Support operations management with reporting, analysis, and coordination between departments.
• Ensure compliance with inventory control policies and procedures.• Proven experience in inventory tracking and control within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other inventory management tools.
• Familiarity with bills of materials (BOM) and material costing processes.
• Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams, including purchasing and operations.
• Experience in data entry and generating inventory reports.
• Knowledge of inventory control systems and best practices.
