WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Ambulatory Care for a local contract nursing job in Hicksville, New York.

WCS is seeking an RN Nurse Manager to oversee a cluster of group homes serving individuals with developmental disabilities in Suffolk County. In this role, you will supervise and train Residence RNs who manage the delivery of individualized medical and psychiatric care for adult residents. The ideal candidate must have prior OPWDD experience and a strong background in providing and coordinating high-quality care within residential settings.

Job Function:

\n

• Day Shift.
\n
• 9am - 5pm.
\n

• Provide day-to-day guidance, oversight, supervision, and evaluation of Residence RNs to ensure regulatory compliance and the delivery of quality medical care.

  \n
\n

• Communicate with residents, families, Coordinators, Managers, DSPs, MCCs, and Behavior Intervention Specialists regarding care issues, offering professional advice and instruction.

  \n
\n

• Address all medical and medication-related issues for individuals residing in the assigned cluster of homes.

  \n
\n

• Conduct quality review audits of nursing functions within assigned residences.

  \n
\n

• Assist the Healthcare Administrator with clinical and administrative responsibilities as needed.

\n

Job Requirements:

\n

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

\n

• 2–3 years of experience providing care for individuals with developmental disabilities.

  \n
\n

• 2–3 years of supervisory experience.

  \n
\n

• Current, valid NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license.

  \n
\n

• Valid NYS Driver’s License.

  \n
\n

\n
