This role involves close collaboration with school leaders and stakeholders to enhance instructional practices, improve student outcomes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a lifelong learner with a strong background in relevant content areas, high confidence in helping students achieve, and a traditional leaning towards educational practices. They should be comfortable with a high-accountability environment, and have experience in developing teachers into coaching or related positions. Applicants for the Managing Director of Academics: Teacher Development position at the company should hold a Master's degree in education or a related field, with a preference for a Doctorate. A minimum of 7-10 years' of experience in education, including at least 5 years in a teacher development role, is required.
