Are you a detail-oriented and driven individual with a passion for resolving insurance claim issues? Mann Eye Institute, a leader in advanced eye care, is looking for an experienced Insurance Reimbursement Specialist to join our Central Billing Office team.

In this key role, you'll ensure accurate insurance payments, resolve denied claims, and support patients and team members with professionalism and care. If you have a deep understanding of the medical billing process and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:

  • Post manual and electronic insurance payments with accuracy and speed
  • Investigate and resolve denied or rejected claims, working directly with payers when needed
  • Apply contractual allowances and adjustment codes to patient accounts
  • Identify and escalate incorrect payments and discrepancies to the CBO Manager
  • Navigate insurance websites and communicate directly with payers to ensure accurate reimbursement
  • Provide compassionate and efficient support to patients by phone

What We’re Looking For:

  • Team player with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experienced in handling medical billing tasks and insurance forms (1500 and UB04)
  • Confident with CPT, ICD-10, and modifiers; knowledgeable of CMS regulations
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanor
  • Able to work well in a dynamic, active office environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in medical billing
  • Proficient in interpreting EOBs and navigating payer portals
