Interviews are anticipated to be conducted within two weeks of closing date.
Under direction and guidance of the Office of Professional Standards (OPS) Bureau Chief, this position will assign investigators to OPS cases while acting as a liaison for the Bureau Chief to maintain communication with investigators. In addition, this position will assist with investigative research; assist in document preparation/correspondence; conduct investigative tasks; and will maintain a case management/tracking system to ensure investigative time frames are being met.
High School diploma or Equivalency and two (2) years of experience in office administration, budgeting, purchasing, finance, accounting, auditing, cash management and/or contract management. Substitutions Apply. See Substitution Table below.

Education Experience 1 High School Diploma or Equivalent AND 2 years of experience 2 Associate's degree or higher (Bachelor's, Master's) AND 0 years of experienceMust possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver's License. Employment is subject to a pre-employment background investigation and is conditional pending results.
Work is performed in an adult prison environment, which includes daily contact with inmates. Willingness to work in a correctional facility, may be required to work odd hours, overtime, holidays, and weekends.
