The Opportunity Tetra Tech is adding an Engineering Project Manager to our Solid Waste/Landfill/Environmental team based in Buffalo or Rochester, NY or further down the I-90 Corridor. Your Role Responsibilities include interpreting regulations, analyzing and reviewing project work, including technical data, reports, plans, estimates, and permits. Some on-site work and travel are required. You will also build client relationships, support business development, and assist with proposals and cross-selling. Plan, develop, coordinate, and direct work for multiple projects and clients. Review work products for quality and compliance. Manage staff contributions, milestones, and deliverables. Support project quality control and administrative tasks. Perform project tasks independently, including design and reporting. Work at landfills or contaminated sites, with potential travel. Follow safety protocols during work and travel. Maintain positive client relationships. Assist with proposals, including technical plans and estimates. Support strategic initiatives and manage priorities. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field. Professional Engineer license required. Minimum 10+ years of experience. Experience in solid waste management, leachate, and landfill construction quality assurance. Regulatory knowledge, especially in New York, is a plus. Excellent communication, leadership, organization, and time management skills. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Civil 3D software. Established client relationships and project management experience are advantages. Note: Visa sponsorship is not available.
