Rv Sales Porter

The RV Sales Porter moves and cleans RVs, keeps the RV vehicles in sound working condition, and is responsible for maintaining the shop lot. He/she will also assist the sales managers or sales professionals, as requested.

Responsibilities

• Approach all encounters with customers and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Must maintain and display a positive attitude.
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with DeMontrond standards.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform as required.
• Comply at all times with DeMontrond standards and regulations to encourage safe work habits.
• Clean Showroom RVs every morning.
• Check interior of vehicles for cleanliness.
• Check all RVs for DeMontrond plates (front and back).
• Ensure all new vehicles have factory window sticker displayed.
• Responsible to assist in keeping the building and surrounding area clean, neat and free of debris.
• Responsible to keep RVs on the lot properly aligned.
• Responsible to keep front lot full.
• Responsible to maintain 1/4 tank of gas in all used vehicles displayed on lot.
• Responsible to wash and dry vehicles as needed to maintain the proper standard of cleanliness.
• Responsible to relay to manager any vendor in or out of the dealership not meeting the standards.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must have an operator's driver's license with a good driving record.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to walk and stand at long periods of time.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Exposed to and be able to handle the climate elements (rain, snow, sleet, hail, heat, cold).
