Apex Systems has an immediate need for a Systems Administrator! This is a long-term contract opportunity supporting one of our largest government clients. Requirements Active Security+ certification 4+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator Experience with WAN/LAN/BAN networks Job Description Coordinate operational designs, develop support plans, implement solutions, and provide second-level support for LAN, BAN, and WAN solutions across diverse platforms. Develop system support requirements by analyzing customer business processes and evaluating enterprise services and supplier capabilities. Support project teams in implementing new or upgraded designs and coordinate efforts with support groups. Create plans for implementing changes. Participate in system support design and performance reviews. Advise on distributed network computing issues. Monitor and maintain security standards and controls. Evaluate, test, and recommend hardware, software, and network configurations based on customer needs. Coach others on new operational support technologies. Analyze user requirements and statistics to identify trends and resolve performance issues. Coordinate and approve updates to site administration documentation. Stay updated on emerging operational support technologies and industry trends. Identify and recommend price/performance improvements. Possess or be willing to obtain an OS/Application Certification prior to starting. Additional Information
